FOLDER IS ZIPPED! After downloading, UNZIP IT (you can unzip the folder by right-clicking on it and, depending on what operating version of Windows you have, you will see an option to "extract", or "extract all" or "unzip to here", etc.).

WHEN UNZIPPED YOU WILL SEE A FOLDER NAMED ACCORDING TO YOUR DOWNLOADED VERSION:

2nd AFD-PRO-OPEN ME  or  2nd AFD-LITE-OPEN ME  or  2nd AFD-X-LITE-OPEN ME

WHEN OPENED, YOU WILL SEE 1 FOLDER WITH THE VERSION NAME AND 1 READ ME TEXT FILE.

 

PUT THAT VERSION FOLDER ANYWHERE YOU WANT.

THE READ ME TEXT FILE CONTAINS THE REGISTRATION CODE.

NOTE: The 2nd Amendment Firearms Database is self-contained. The executable program, all entered data and all necessary files are in this folder.

FOR PRO: Open the folder and click on the executable  file <2nd AFD-PRO VXX-XX>. The "XX-XX" is the version part of the version name.

FOR LITE: Open the folder and click on the executable  file <2nd AFD-LITE VXX-XX>. The "XX-XX" is the version part of the version name.

FOR X-LITE: Open the folder and click on the executable  file <2nd AFD-X-LITE VXX-XX>. The "XX-XX" is the version part of the version name.
Allow anywhere from several seconds to a few minutes to load program the first time.
You can create a shortcut on your desktop with the application file.
Do not change the names of any of these files or put them in other folders.

When the program runs for the first time enter the registration key.

NOTE: PROGRAM REGISTRATION CODE IS IN THE READ ME TEXT FILE INCLUDED IN THE ATTACHED ZIPPED.

ADOBE ACROBAT SHOULD BE INSTALLED.
IF INSERTING A PDF, DO NOT DELETE, MOVE OR RENAME IT ON YOUR COMPUTER.
YOU CAN KEEP PDFs INSIDE YOUR PROGRAM FOLDER IF YOU TRANSFER FROM LOCATION TO LOCATION.
